Exploring the ephemeral past of Chinese entertainment from Hong Kong, the U.S.A., and around the world: vaudeville pioneers, flappers, aviatrices, burlesque dancers, hula hoopers, movie queens, sex bombs, jade girls, tomboys, pin-ups, sour beauties, girl jocks, swordswomen, and go-go girls.
I'm anxious to read this, Dave. There's very little known about her. My first exposure to Pearl was in 1987 or 1988. I rented her three "Ninja" movies--VENUS THE NINJA (MATCHING ESCORTS), WOLFEN NINJA (WOLF DEVIL WOMAN) and PHOENIX THE NINJA (MIRACULOUS FLOWER)--these were all from Transworld Entertainment and one or two of them were part of Sho Kosugi's Ninja Theater series.
Hi venoms5! I just started my introduction. Since I've got so much information and material, it's going to be four or five posts. I hope you like it. I'm feeling a little pressure from myself to do an extra special bang-up job.

I can't wait!
Haha! That's awesome.
Hold tight, guys! It might take me a couple of weeks. I'm finally done with my research and will start writing this weekend.
Excellent--I have watch only a couple of her movies but fell in cinematic love with her the first time her image showed up on my DVD player.
Pearl definitely has that effect on some people, myself included!
