South Sea Greetings

Sorry for the sudden disappearance! I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the past two weeks. I'm struggling to get back into my blogging routine but hope to share some of the finds from my trip in the coming days — like this lovely tropical Christmas card featuring Fanny Fan and Patricia Lam Fung.

Thanks Eddy! I went to a Sunday flea market at one of the local malls. The pickings were pretty slim for movie ephemera but looked like a goldmine for vinyl collectors. I had better luck at some of the antique shops, where I found this card.

-- Spymonkey, more good stuff is on the way!

-- Hi Carl! No worries. I'm just happy you were able to meet so many of the Malay pop stars and musicians. Looking forward to the CD and documentary. :)

Hi hcpen! Yes, I had a fun time in KL and ate lots of good food, including mamak, nonya, thai, and tea cuisine (at Purple Cane). And although I didn't gorge on durian every day like I imagined I would, I had a really nice feast with my friends.
